Like the EVA8000, the new EVA9150 can play an impressive array of music and visual media from PCs, Macs or a NAS box directly to your HD TV. With an Internet connection you can view YouTube, RSS feeds, podcasts, Flickr photos and Internet radio content without the need for a PC switched on somewhere - very eco! However, the difference lays in the video processing at 40mps.
The Netgear EVA9150 has the versatility to play your films, music or view pictures that are stored on your Windows® PC, Apple Mac or directly from network attached storage (NAS) device. At the same time the EVA 9150 will automatically up-convert videos and photos to full 1080p High Definition resolution via HDMI output
Technically, the EVA9150 Digital Entertainer Elite supports full HD up to 1080p when playing back MPEG-4 files, MPEG-2, H-264, Windows® Media Video 9 files. The EVA9150 also comes complete with a 500Gb hard drive.
As well as unsurpassed media streaming, you can also get instant access to content via a USB flash drive, digital camera, iPod, or other USB storage device via the two USB ports.
If you want to keep your DVDs complete with menus, subtitles, and special features, then you can as the EVA9150 plays unprotected DVD images as well as straight forward playback of Windows® Media DRM (WMDRM10) protected content from major internet streaming services.
Like to move from one room to the next while still watching a video or listening to music? Well you can. The ‘follow me’ will allow you to pause and resume between rooms when using two or more Digital Entertainer Elite units.
Connecting to your wireless network is achieved with a simple press of a button with Push 'N' Connect feature using Wi-Fi Protected Setup™ (WPS). However, we recommend using a wired connection.
